How many books have been donated? What libraries have been helped? Here we will keep you up to date as donations
come in...
As of June 10th the YA Book Drive 4 Rural Libraries is no longer active. All of the books that were
donated have been delivered to libraries that were in need. I have plans to look into the possibility of re-opening and expanding
the Book Drive after realizing how many people want to help libraries but not until I am able to find a way to fund the organization
better.
The new and slightly used books that were donated have been handed out to the
Cuba Public Library (NY), Wide Awake Club Library (NY), Galeton Public Library (PA), Oswayo Valley Memorial Library (PA),
Belmont Library and Historical Society (NY), and the Genesee Area Public Library (PA). Books that were a little too well loved
were donated to the David A Howe Public Library to use to start a YA Book Exchange program.
